Kim NgoWoodward
Kim Ngo Woodward is a Family Photographer based in Singapore.
Born and raised in San Jose, California, my passion for photography began early, focusing primarily on capturing people. Even during my college years at Santa Clara University, where I took a photography course and acquired my first professional camera, a Canon Rebel at the age of 20, I found myself drawn to the artistry of family photography.
However, my career path led me into the exciting world of tech startups, a journey I thoroughly enjoyed. From roles at innovative companies like Facebook and 500 Startups, to eventually launching my own startup, https://www.dishdash.co/, I immersed myself in entrepreneurship.
Five years fast-forward, I became pregnant with twin baby girls, one year later, COVID-19 happened and with all the downtime and lockdowns, I dabbled in photography, learned from mostly wedding photographers, but didn’t take it seriously until June 2021.
Today, based in Singapore, I specialize in intimate, airy, and timeless family lifestyle photography. While I frequently travel to San Diego and San Francisco each year, I am also eager to capture moments anywhere in the world.
As I embark on a new chapter with the birth of my second set of twins (now boys) and pursue my MBA at Boston University starting August 2024, I look forward to continuing my journey in family life, photography, and academics.
